I still don’t know where all the time goes… It only seems like a few months since I was celebrating my nephews 18th Birthday and there we were yesterday celebrating his 21st.
All his family were gathered together for a lunch time celebratory meal, a good time was had by all and it was nice to meet his girlfriend for the first time
LOve that skyscape! is that unretouched, Cherie? Love the orangey hues!
I haven’t touched the colours at all.
All I have done with this one is crop it a little to remove the some cars (that were spoiling the view) from the bottom of the picture. The photo was taken through a car window whilst we traveled home on the motorway.
Great sky, love the colours.
I know, time flies, my son turned 25 years old, two weeks ago….
Time does fly, I don’t know where it all goes!!
I bet you are really proud of your son
Tempus fugit!
It certainly does!
Fantastic sky!
Thank you Claude, I am only the messenger
Time is flying so fast – yes, it’s true. Gasping, out of breath we are, trying to keep up with it.
I don’t have time for any breaths, it just seems to pass by in the blink of an eye…
While it is going, sometimes time seems to fly and at other times to crawl, but however old we are there are always going to be certain past times that just seem like yesterday to us. It’s all part of the illusion of memory, I would suggest, because a memory is just a fickle and fallible attempt by the brain to recreate an old event in the here and now inside our head, and if that process is powerful enough the impression can be extraordinarily recent. Sorry. I am rambling on again… I must remember to say… Nice photo.
I think we can both agree on your ‘rambling’ (which you weren’t) quote for the day
Time is very fickle. Sometimes I like to go back through my blog and thoughts to see how time has deceived me…
Another perfect day for you – I do feel how much you enjoy life, a shown by all your lovely pictures and commentaries. Keep them going, Cherie
Thanks Lisl, I try to focus on the good times in life.
One of those was the afternoon that we spent together
