On my recent holiday I got a bit carried away and took around 700 photographs so it has taken me a long time to sort them out. Now I have finished I will continue to post about the many places that I visited whilst I was away. For those of you who would like to see them sooner, I have also uploaded photos of the places I visited to a gallery which can be found here. Any photo can be clicked on for a larger view or to scroll through the photos. I haven’t put captions on all of them yet, but I am getting there.
It is part of a project to collate all my holiday diaries and photographs in one place so that it is easy for family and friends to access them. It may take some time
Thank you. I will certainly visit your Photo Gallery. It’s so nice to see them all together, and then, one by one.
Thank you
I am humbled that my photos and journeys inspire you.
Beauty and geometry and life well-noticed and captured
I loved what I saw on the day I took the photo that accompanies this post.
With regards to the gallery and the tiled option I chose, Wordpress seems to do a little bit of magic in the way it displays the photos!!!
It seems to make the photo journey dynamic…
Six birds on a wire and one more coming in for a landing… this is a wonderful fresh image Cherie… have a nice Sunday….peter:)
Thank you I hope you have a nice Sunday too.
Funny you should put that up because I had a Birds incident yesterday.
It is that time of year

The fact that the birds were about to travel was the reason I chose it for the blog header of Cherry on Her Travels.
He he… I took 7,000+ photos when I went to Italy last year. :p
I would NEVER be able to process that amount of photos!!!
Sad to see the summer visitors on their way south. I watched a few late swallows feeding up on Portland at the week-end – probably the last bit of land they will come down on until Africa
It is always a splendid sight to see them gathering but it is tinged with the thought of the winter months.
