i love your thought for the week and your beautiful flower Cherie…
it’s not that a child knows poems by heart…
it’s because they write them for us….peter:)
That is beautiful Peter Thank you.
Ah – the change in header!
Yes it is to go with my Mechelen posts
Wonderful flower, they are so delicate and I hope that night-frost will stay away.
I love the quote.
As we paid to enter the garden we were told that we must go and see the Magnolias because they were magnificent. And there was a likelihood of frost in a few days so they would be spoiled.
Gorgeous, Cherry…image and verb alike!
Thank you, glad you like them
Wisteria is blooming everywhere in London.
I had such a lovely time at Fulham Palace yesterday.
There’s huge walled garden there, with lots of apple trees.
All blooming at the same time.
Such a beautiful garden/ orchard.
That garden sounds delightful. I hope you will be sharing some photos
very nice shot of the delicate petals. i like the colour transformations there
Thank you Ayush
Sometimes a bit stubborn child, right?
I like that quote, Cherry, and the Magnolia is lovely. We have one like this on the company premises and I pass by it every afternoon. I always enjoy its unique gentle buds and then flowers.
How lovely to have the opportunity to enjoy its beauties every day
I LOVE magnolias. One of my clients[in England] ha a fantastic old magnolia tree which was picture perfect…until the frost.
You would adore the Magnolia walk at Hodnet
Interesting thought, although “the child” changes the poem just a little bit each time, which is what gives it such creative power.
A child tunes into nature and is uninhibited in their thoughts.
The world is their oyster
