Your poem and picture go so well together today, Cherie

. . . especially where death and hatress and war keep enjoying their life.

It’s so good to ‘know’ you will forgive my sarcasm with a lenient smilie.

    • CherryPie says:

Death, hatred and war will continue for many reasons…

Mostly (politics and religion) vying for power and feeding on greed.

Many people come into the world who advocate peace, freedom and love. Most of those people have small voices that are not widely heard.

Occasionally one of those people who advocates peace etc. is more widely heard leading them to wider condemnation from those that want to maintain power.

Jesus was one of those condemned (by those vying for power) for promoting peace, freedom and love (and a little bit more).

So on Easter day I think of enlightened people and hope for the future (without war and hatred). I am privileged to know many such people. They are my friends ;-)

Death is a subject for another day…

  3. Claude says:

    Very uplifting. Thank you, Cherie.

    • CherryPie says:

I am glad this thought uplifted you as it did me.

This time of year (month rather than Easter) has conflicting memories for me.

The quote I chose is partly about that :-)

  4. Ginnie says:

    Every year. And actually…every day!

  5. This is what I call “bliss”!
