Ha, that could be taken in my neck of the woods.
All I can say is that it was a beautiful sunset
Nice (ah, comment “too short” again, and I keep preaching the virtues of being concise)
Oh well… Nice, nice, nice, nice, nicety, nice…
There is concise and there is brief…
it’s a glorious sunset Cherie… i like the way that you framed it with the branches just a bit out of focus….peter:)
I am glad you like it
You have been getting your fair share of beautiful skies, too, Cherie
I thought that when I saw yours
Welcome to the New Year, Cherry. Let’s see what it has to offer this time around!!!
Hopefully it will be a good one
Nice indeed, Cherie. But it brings to mind Crocodile Dundee in the subway…. “That’s a knife? THIS is a knife !” I am blessed here with sunsets of such variety they would blow your little cotton socks off.
Still, we must enjoy what we have. Today I spent an hour at the beach. The day was just splendid.
An hour at the beach in the sunshine sounds wonderful
You need to take photos of some of your amazing sunsets for me
That’s lovely, I think skies must be hard to photograph.
I don’t seem to have a problem with sunsets or the very rare sunrise shots when I take them. Although sky can be difficult on a bright summers day.
I do like the amber colours in this very much.
We had an enjoyable ride home seeing the sunset.
It’s a beautiful golden spectacle, Cheryl, I don’t remember I’d have ever seen something like that. Have a great 2015!
I am glad you like it
You caught a stunning image!
Thanks Donna
Wonderful colours. It’s amazing how cloud can break or make a sunset.
Clouds can add to a sunset, although one of the best I ever saw was when there was no cloud at all to be seen. I was not able to get a photograph of it (I was driving) but this was my description of it at the time:
The sky was orange and the sun was a bright orange disc gradually changing to an intense red colour. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky so the sun was a perfect circle with a different shade of orangey/red behind it.
