We are formed and molded by our thoughts. Those whose minds are shaped by selfless thoughts give joy when they speak or act. Joy follows them like a shadow that never leaves them.

    Darkness and joy?
Hmm… they don’t usually go together, right?

Shadow has more than one dictionary definition ;-)

In relation to this quote it means an inseparable companion or a reflected image :-)

I LOVE that quote. I need to memorize it! Lovely flower too. Is that from your garden, Cherie?

Your thought for the week is a good example of a smile being returned… i love your flower with a bit of morning dew….peter:)

The interesting thing about the flower is that I took the photograph in early afternoon. The morning had been quite cloudy, but there had been no rain. The water droplets a a remnant from the early morning. It was quite lovely :-)

    From where do thoughts arise?

I love your ‘Thought for the week’,… In fact it’s seven times better than the BBC’s thought for the day!
    What to say this week?
“We are formed and molded by our thoughts.”
    How true, Cherie, how true!
I think of Meaty Melton Mowbray pork pies and my figure is molded to suit.
I think of high calorie Cornish Pasties, and my waist is formed into a pastie shape.
I think of a nice long cool refreshing drink of Brakspear’s finest bitter – and I am formed and molded into a mirror reflection that I wish was not my own.
Do you have this problem when you think of ‘naughty’ cream cakes?
    Cheers … naughty Bernard xxx

HaHaHa :-) I am quite sure that I do not have the shape of a cake slice triangle but…

I do however need to lose a pound or two ;-) I am currently working on that! Now what food should I think of to get me back into shape…

      :-)

      • Bernard says:

Far be it from me to suggest anything shape-changing to a charming lady such as you – but I am myself ‘thinking’ heavily of ‘Slimline’ gin & tonic, and perhaps a ‘lite-bite’ or two!

        • CherryPie says:

You are so kind, thank you :-)

Perhaps we can ponder on the “‘Slimline’ gin & tonic, and perhaps a ‘lite-bite’ or two!” together :-) I am sure two thoughts are better than one ;-)

  6. A very wise saying and something to work toward!
