It is good to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all the shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

What an interesting quote, Cherry. I’m still mulling it over…..especially juxtaposing it with the image. :)

Lovely. I miss my garden in South Africa so much. It was my solace.

The one thing I do miss is a garden, my own garden, where I can be sitting down and nobody ‘bothers’ me…. I did find a nice place in the city though. I have a little chair and I sit next to the canal on a small dock. I see boats coming by, but nobody talks to me. It is a place in the sun, early morning (summer). Now I love to take a run around the citadel, be alone with my thoughts, frustration, joy and have talks with myself… maybe too much information, but I think it is very important that people can be alone with their thoughts or even just with a good book.
Great picture with it. (don’t get me wrong, I do like people, but I shield myself to have enough ‘me-time’….)
