View from the Old Bell

It has been my intention for quite some time to post diary blogs (from my notebooks) on holidays that I had not written about in this way. My older notes are more brief than my current notes, so the ‘historical’ holiday journeys I share with you will be less detailed.

*Phew*, I hear you say ;-)

Tomorrow I will start with our anniversary weekend away in  Malmesbury  2009.

    Hi Cherie,
I’m on holiday at the moment. I’m camped up in Derbyshire near Burton-on-Trent.
It’s all damp and grey at the moment so tomorrow I’m driving up to Wensleydale to try out the Cheese. ;-)
It’s great having these sites providing internet access as I can keep in touch with family and friends whilst I on my travels. I only have to return to ‘base’ when I run out of clean underwear! By the way, your garden and patio look great. I’m afraid that being away from home so much, means my garden is rather neglected. ;-(
    Bye for now – Bernard

I hope you are enjoying your hols :-) Say hello to Grommit for me ;-)

I am glad you are liking the new look garden. I have said for a while that my garden was in need of a little TLC :-) Now it is slowly getting the TLC it deserves ;-)
