For me, a landscape does not exist in its own right, since its appearance changes at every moment; but the surrounding atmosphere brings it to life – the light and the air which vary continually. For me, it is only the surrounding atmosphere which gives subjects their true value.
Claude Monet
Claude Monet’ thought for the week is perfect Cherie…
i could post a thousand pictures of the landscape across our lake and they are never the same….peter:)
I am glad you enjoyed my choice of ‘quote for the week’.
What a poetic quote. Thanks Cherie! Wishing you a great week ahead.
Thank you, I hope you have a great week too
Food for thought when we take our cameras out – perhaps waiting to take the view at different times
I like photos from the same angle in different seasons.
i agree with each word you said my dear friend, it is surrounding atmosphere that violate the mood and awakens the real spirit of one
I am glad you enjoyed it
He he… How strange I just mentioned Monet in my post yesterday!
Great minds think alike, eh?
