A change from a red rose!
I have several roses that I haven’t shared but non of them are red! I thought this particular rose was rather pretty
a beautiful flower and you made a nice shot of it, CP. and i love this shade with its subtle colour transformations.
Thanks Ayush
That is a beautiful rose. I have to admit that we don’t celebrate Valentines day, for me it is a thing blown over from the USA and only good for commerce, at least in the Netherlands….
Valentine’s day is actually an English tradition (not American) going back long before it became commercial.
Below is a link to the relevant section in Wikepedia, however the rest of the history is interesting too.

Oh, what a beautiful shot of a beautiful blushing rose, taken by a beautiful English Rose!
Happy Valentine’s Day to you and Mr. C (albeit belated)! Hope it was a love-filled day for you both
Thanks Chrysalis
We had a nice evening together, I hope you too had a Happy Valentine’ day.
Such a pretty colour.
Thank you
