Few would believe that most of those snaps have a strong resemblence to Tasmania, with perhaps a slight difference in architecture. Hills, rocks, blue seas, foliage, boats and harbours, even the dramatic rocks standing off-shore. (We have seals around ours !). Our beaches are far and away better though. World class. I am on (roughly) the same latitude south as Capri is north.
The last photo was quite special, we had chosen between visiting a monastery or a garden. We opted for the monastery and whilst we were there I noticed a doorway that led outside the monastery walls. Whilst Mr C was investigating the cloister I snuck out to investigate
I went back to the cloister and when Mr C had finished I guided him through the doorway beyond
We had this fantastic view all to ourselves (only two other people were in the monastery at the same time as us). When we looked up to the garden, a little higher on the hill. The coastal viewpoint was three deep in people!!
I see that once again you are tempting me to visit Tasmania
Oh my, what great pictures you took in Capri and indeed that last picture is one from the books. I am sitting here at 5.22 AM and already with my mind in Italy next year. That blue sky and that blue sea…..
LOVE that snake necklace, not that I will ever buy it.
