For me, prayer is an aspiration of the heart, it is a simple glance directed towards heaven, it is a cry of gratitude and love in the midst of trial as well as joy.

A lovely cool start to a day which is going to be HOT again!
It was lovely and cool in the morning before the afternoon heat. It settled down later so we were able to dine on our patio rather than inside.
I so agree, Cherry!
What a lovely photo you have to accompany your quote.
I felt the Vision & Verb connection with the photo and words.
i love your thought for the week Cherie and the beautiful image of the bend in the river….peter:)
Thank you
What a wonderful picture with your thought. A “thank You” every morning and evening is my gratitude for being alive and have what we have…..
I love your “Thank You” practice.
I am a bit lax on my thank you gratitude. I am working on it
Is that River Severn?!
It look rather brown when I visited Ironbridge.
The river usually looks brown but on this occasion the colour was blue with the fabulous cloud reflections.
I often thank Nature, as I don’t “do” God, although Nature may the “God”, I suppose… but then I often dislike Nature too, when I see how cruel it can be. I am confused…
Nature is part of God as are you and I
Well I will agree that we are all just part of the same big thing, whatever we choose to call it, and all much more mysteriously connected than the little parts like us can ever know.
My problem is not with the possibilities, my problem is with all the disparate but staunchly held beliefs in claimed and invented details about things we do not know.
We just need to feel and tune into nature. Sit calm and reflecting in a cafe, on a beach, by a lake or river, on the top of a hill or just in or own cosy home place.
Then we will know… It is not a belief, it is a feeling
Nature may be the “God”, I meant. Unfortunately typos are things I do “do”.
