In one of the images here I saw a water pump, Cherry…the kind I grew up with in Michigan as a child. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one like it here in Europe, so yours has made me very curious!
We have these in the UK, in historical locations such as Attingham Park. I can’t remember any in a public place but I have seen many replicas in private gardens.
What a place to walk around and see all those beautiful flowers. A nice day out, Cherry.
I had a lovely afternoon. Attingham is a lovely place to go walking and feel safe when I am alone
Heat waves are such a relative concept I saw Copenhagen citizens take their shirts off when it got to 22c.
As long as the flowers bloom beautifully, I say.
This was certainly a UK heatwave in mid October
I am reminded of when I visited Cyprus in November. The weather was glorious, much warmer than a UK summer. We were wearing our summer clothes and hats to protect us from the sun. The locals where wearing wooly pullovers and staring at us with amusement.
i liked the transitioning colours in the trees, CP.
They are beautiful
yes the weather this month is very bizarre. If we had these sort of temperature during the summer that would suit me just fine The autumn colours are coming.
I agree this sort of temperature is perfect for the summer months. It was a bit too hot for me this summer causing me to laze around rather than get out and about.
I am enjoying the emerging autumn colours
Must take advantage of that warm weather while it lasts!
Yes
How could you remain so calm in such weather?! Ha!
My normal state is calm, although I have me moments
I even stayed calm, cool and collected when caught out in the countryside in the full force of “Storm Ali”! I was fearful and aware of my mortality but I remained calm…
