Omar had a pithy take on’t too.

“The moving finger writes, and having writ, moves on.

And all you piety and your wit will not bring it back

to cancel out half a line of it.”

Not that folk don’t try !!

Sometimes it is hard to realize that we are part of the bigger scheme. Odd, I never feel that important that my life will add to the greater good.
    Love the flower.
(Question: is that old spelling, the “Mankinde” with an “e” at the end? This is NOT to be funny, but a real question)

    • CherryPie says:

Yes the spelling is the old English version. I hesitated whether to use that or more up to date spelling. I used the older version because it gave the context of age to the quote :-)

I like the quote, as I do the one that Amfortas shared.

  3. Ginnie says:

Old English itself is like another language, Cherry, isn’t it! What a beautiful image for this quote!
