The stream flowing at the bottom of my garden certainly helps bring some peace to me often, whatever “me” is. It is very nice to have just a few yards from my door.

I love the sound of water flowing in a stream, I find it relaxing. I also like the sounds of garden birds at dusk and dawn. Their happy chirpings make me feel joyful.

  2. The Yum List says:

Running water always brings such peace.

I would love some flowing water in the garden, but now so many risk flooding

That is so true, Cherry. For some reason that sound does good for the soul. I sleep with a “babbling brook” sound, it distracts my Tinnitus and it makes me sleep. (It is a free app)

    • CherryPie says:

I do not have Tinnitus (for now) but there is a droning generator from somewhere near to me that intrudes on the absolute silence of the night. Once I am tuned into it, I can’t get it out of my head!

I like the idea of the ‘babbling brook’ app :-)

  5. Ginnie says:

    Oh, yes, Cherry. Yes, indeed!

  6. It would be more peaceful when the birds chirp. :)

Yesterday was the first day of spring. The sun came out and every time I ventured into my garden the birds sang to me. It was delightful :-)
