Just beautiful – the photos are gorgeous. I was amazed at the splendour of the Tom Denny window when I visited – some of the loveliest stained glass I have seen
I want to go back again soon to take some better photographs xx
what a stunning place, CP. i loved the light streaming in through the windows. the floor tiles are very nice. my favourite is however, the first shot of the ribbed ceiling.
It is a special place
This is a fabulous place to visit and you caught some wonderful light here. I remember the floor. Don’t you juts love all the different tiles they used??
The tiles are fascinating. They are laid so neatly
We were there the day before the huge flood of 2007. Stayed in the hotel across the road whose ground floor was a few feet under water the day after we left. I remember the interior of the abbey as rather gloomy. Either sunshine makes a huge difference or they have installed new lighting.

Maybe just visit again… When circumstances are ripe for a visit
Really, a magnificent ceiling and floor!
Yes
Such a beautiful place
