Waiting for the Bride

On bank holiday Sunday I attended attended a family wedding, this led to us staying in Cheltenham for a couple of nights due to this being the area where the wedding took place.

During my stay I was able to do some urban walking around Cheltenham.

Hotel corridor

In addition to the urban walking the hotel corridors from the bedroom to the hotel reception and breakfast room (and back) also racked up some miles.

Westonbury Water Mill Gardens

On our journey home we stopped off at Westonbury Mill Water Gardens where we enjoyed a pleasant lunch followed by a walk around the gardens.

The floor tricks my eyes too especially as I know that halfway up that picture there is a right turn leading to reception. The walk to reception is the same length as walking the corridor to the crossroads that lead to reception.

Westonbury Mill Water Gardens look like the perfect site for summer lunches and summer walks.

Great pictures of you, Cherry. And good for you that you grabbed the opportunity to do some photography as well. I love that floor… almost 3D.
The things we see makes it fun to be away from home.

  6. It was so hot. I hope your make up didn’t melt. Ha!
I went to Royal Tunbridge Wells this bank holiday.
Have you been there before? It’s rather posh, a bit like Cheltenham, I guess.

  7. Lovely photos. The Hare and Minotaur sculpture is so unusual :) We visited Westonbury Mill Gardens when on holiday in Hereforshire – they really are lovely :)
