i imagine that it is al diet pastry Cherie… they are two fine portraits of Mr. C and yourself….peter:)
It was all rather sweeter to the palate than we are accustomed to.
Wedgwood made a significant contribution to our lives, didn’t he? I mean his crockery of course
I still have some Wedgwood pottery. It is a shame that these things are not appreciated anymore in our cheaply produced throw away society.
Hahah… there was a heady period when we could sit in cafes and restaurants once again. They will be back but I don’t know when!
This visit was during Covid restrictions which is why the place looks empty.
I so miss just turning up for tea and cake whilst out and about. And during the current restrictions I am missing being out and about. But at least I can step out from my doorstep and go for a walk
You must miss all this – I know how I miss coffee and cake with friends
I do miss the spontaneity of going on an adventure and stopping of for lunch or tea and cake along the way. Having to pre book everything in advance rather spoils an adventure. Not that we can even do that now we are back in full lockdown.
I miss meeting with others…
Those were the days, Cherie
Hopefully they will be back later this year
How very civilised and fine that was.
It was
And rather quiet due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
this is lovely post ,you have beautiful smile and pretty face indeed
pastries and tea look delicious ,how nice to eat outdoor again
blessings!
We took the opportunity in-between lockdowns
