Beautiful. I’ve only visited Stone Henge once when I was a child and you could wander freely among the stones.
It is possibly to book a place to wander freely among the stones.
That is my first memory of the stones when I visited from school. Sadly I didn’t really appreciate the experience at the time.
You’ve got some gorgeous pictures here, and not just the monument. Good to see the environs, too
I so love to walk around this landscape
Did you see any crop circles?
Are those crows?
That’s a lot of them!
He he… I can’t never forget this expression.
A “murder” of crows. So weird!
Lots of crows but the crop circle artists had not ventured into the fields to graffiti them.
It was very busy when I visited Stonehenge one October a few years ago… I hate to think what it’s like in the summer.
It can be busy. I have only shown photos where I have managed to angle the shots so that no people are showing.
fascinating place indeed!!
these stone take one in olden ages and make us feel believes and culture of people of that time
I hope to go back there soon. The manmade features in the landscape around Stonehenge fascinate me.
