Is the house open to the public, Cherie?
The house is open to the public. It is usually by guided tour, but due to Covid it is currently self guided tours only and for the same reason a small part of the house is not accessible.
Is it related to the other Hampton Court in Richmond?
But that band stand…
How often do you see one that’s surrounded by water?
They like to compare themselves to the other Hampton Court.
There are two bandstands/pavilions
You never dissapoint with your posts Cherrie
I just love all the historic places you show and tell about on your blog.
Thank you, it is lovely to hear from you
The photos are just gorgeous
I so love those gardens and grounds.
Thank you
We still haven’t managed to do the river walk.
The rotunda in the inner court would be perfect for summer drinkies or lunch. Or even for a smaller wedding. Imagine how lovely the photos would be.
The eating and dining area is the other side of the rooms beyond the doorway. Yes it is fabulous with a light and airy indoor seating area and an outside seating area looking towards the river.
I’ve passed Hampton Court Castle many times on my way to Ledbury, but somehow I’ve not yet managed to visit. I really should!
It is well worth a visit
We have so many wonderful places in the UK don’t we!
This looks another place to visit … my list is getting longer!
Lovely photographs, thank you.
All the best Jan
Thank you, it is well worth a visit
