Merry Christmas – have a lovely day.
Thank you
Happy Christmas, dear CherryPie.
Thank you
Wishing you and yours peace! I hope the New Year brings an end to wars, oppression of women, starvation, epidemics, racist murders and earthquakes/bushfires/floods.
It would be lovely to see the end of those things and many others could be added to your list.
Merry/Happy Christmas, Cherie – and a Happy and Healthy New Year!
I think it’s so interesting that we say “Merry Christmas” over here in America, when we never, ever use the word “merry” for literally anything else – like the word “jolly,” the word “merry” sounds very British – but then you all say “Happy Christmas,” which sounds more American, right?
Sorry for that tangent – I know that has nothing to do with anything, and yet regional transitions in the same language interest me, to the point where people’s eyes glaze over lol.
Anyway, back to the post lol – beautiful trees, all in a row – and yet my eyes were still drawn to the ceiling and crown molding, the carving detail – beautiful!
I hope you and Mr. C and your mum had a wonderful day – and that is was much warmer than our day here – and yet I won’t complain because we did have a (leftover) White Christmas!
Love you,
Chrystal and Mark Chaplow
PS – Amen to Hels prayer of sorts – tack on people remembering that kindness and giving people the same benefit of the doubt we’d like others to give us are rare commodities, these days, so I pray and hope for more of THAT, in the coming new year (although you, in particular, are already a very good example of both of those things)
The full statement is usually Merry Christmas and Happy New Year but when I split it up I always end up saying Happy Christmas for some reason.
We had a very quiet Christmas day but today we visited a larger group of family which was also nice.
Thank you xx
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Wishing you all the best for the new year!
Happy New Year to you too
I hope you had a Merry Christmas.
My good wishes for a Happy and Healthy New Year.
All the best Jan
Happy New Year to you too
Of course I remember this place!
Took me a whole day to see everything there.
We didn’t manage to see everything and need to go back!
