The sun had got its hat on so it would have been rude not to go out for lunch.
Hodnet Hall provides lovely lunches and cakes, a perfect choice. The gardens are lovely at this time of year with colourful blooms in flower and bluebells along the pathway.
Lunch and a sunny garden walk what more could I ask for…
How could I possibly say no to such a lovely walk?
The rhododendrons are bursting with colour.
It was a delight on such a sunny day
But time is fleeting, space is expanding.
And I am still here.
But where is here
What a beautiful, sunny day! Lunch looked delicious and the grounds of Hodnet Hall look like a wonderful place to explore. I have to admit to being a tad envious – spring it yet to arrive in Kent
Spring hasn’t really arrived in Shropshire either. I seem to have managed to take advantage of the rare sunny moments.
Going outside for lunch, if the weather is at least half way decent, is always my favourite option. The water, trees and coloured flowers are saying: come… come out and enjoy!
It was slightly chilly due to the breeze but sitting outside in the sunshine just had to be done
Looks a super walk and so many flowers – it is particularly lovely to see the bluebells. Lunch looks tasty. Sunny dry days seem few and far between at the moment so best to take the opportunity to go out when the weather is good
The gardens at Hodnet Hall are one of my favourite places to visit. I have been lucky with the weather on my recent visits to local places
