    I could so well understand any Roman who wore a badge that said. I am no tourist, I live here.

      Those that lived there jabbed me with roses insisting I buy them and also stepped out of shops trying to insist that I bought a beauty treatment from them!

      I would have enjoyed meandering around the streets exploring more but… it was just so hot! We could easily have walk back to the hotel from here taking in a nearby garden estate.

      Well, the ‘rose sellers’ generally aren’t locals. In any case, I’m glad I’m no Roman. ;-)
