I do like walled gardens
So do I. I have enjoyed watching the garden at Attingham evolve over the years since they started restoring it.
Lovely to see the items harvested – you cannot beat a walled garden.
There is something about them that draws me in.
Are those giant orange balls pumpkins? How do you carry one away? And how do you cut one?
They are pumpkins and you would need a hefty blade to cut them.
The barn and the lake reminded me so much of St Fagans.
I would love to visit Cardiff again.
I heard school children there speak to each other in their native Welsh!
Talk about nationalism.
Funny you should mention Cardiff… That is where my next adventure is
Are you going to St Fagans?
They were re-building a pub the last time I was there…
It should be done by now.
Don’t forget to visit their Central Market!
And save me some tea cakes
I am back now, we did visit St Fagans. The Vulcan Pub is now complete and I can see why the locals wanted to save it.
We didn’t get the opportunity to sample many of the local dishes, they were not on offer.
Beautiful photographs.
Happy weekend wishes.
All the best Jan
Thank you
You reminded me of harvest time in Seanhenge.
That walled garden is a beauty.
I am fond of walled gardens and autumn is one of my favourite times of year.
