Due to shopping a day earlier than usual we hadn’t yet visited our local butcher to purchase the meat to accompany our meal options for the next few days.
This led to ‘Fish Friday’ being ‘Fish Thursday’ and our Saturday curry night become ‘Curry Friday’.

We exchanged anniversary cards before going to the breakfast room. There were interesting choices on the menu and after a bit of deliberation I settled on scrambled egg with smoked salmon.
