The architecture of chapter house at Buildwas Abbey is Gothic in style and quite beautiful. It was from here that I was treated to that lovely musical surprise.

The ruins of Buildwas Abbey are situated in beautiful woodland just above the south bank of the River Severn.

As part of the Easter celebrations the local parish church always erects a wooden cross and adorns it with flowers. This is done by the congregation just before the Easter morning service. I think it is a lovely idea and the little children get involved with it too.
