Witley Parish Church – Paintings
The ceiling paintings in Witley Parish Church were painted by the Italian artist Antonio Bellucci. The three principle paintings on the ceiling are; the lamentation, the ascension and the nativity.

This is the Parish Church for the villages of Great Witley and Little Witley. It is still in regular use for services, concerts and other events. It stands next to Witley court which is now in ruins following a fire that occurred in 1937.

Designed to Impress
The glasshouse was built directly opposite the main entrance to the Walled Garden and was intended to instantly impress visitors due to glass being expensive and exotic fruit a luxury.

Tamworth Pigs
These Tamworth pigs came from Acton Scott farm. They have been introduced into the garden so that the ground can be turned around for fresh planting.
They seem to be fulfilling their role without a thought….
