The malt house was originally an Elizabethan building of two builds, which during the 18th century was converted for malting. In 2008-9 is was restored as a visitor centre.

The Church was built by Sir John de Broughton and is largely early 14th century.
The evidence suggests that the Church and Castle were both built by the same hand – with designs in the South Porch of the Church exactly repeated in the Groined passage in the castle. Similar 14th century floor tiles are also [...]

Last Friday Mr C took the day off work and we headed off to Manchester so that he could go clothes shopping. We arrived at the station in plenty of time to catch the train to Wolverhampton.
