Tnchick the long standing host of PhotoHunt stepped down last week and by popular request to keep the Hunt alive a new host was voted in. Thank you to Sandi for stepping in so quickly so that PhotoHunt can carry on seamlessly without a break

This is an exhibit from La Coupole, which is a fascinating and humbling place to visit.  It is very interesting from a historical point of view and at the same time quite shocking that such a place existed.  The time when I visited there was a temporary exhibition entitled “Deportation and genocide, a European tragedy”.  [...]

By this statue of Constantine, which is outside York Minster, a temporary hand-written plaque replaces the missing original one of bronze. I found it interesting to note that the replacement is dated the day before I took these photos…
