Cole Mere
After visiting the Flaxmill we weren’t ready to go home so we set off towards the mere at Ellesmere, deciding to stop at the nearby Colemere. We enjoyed a pleasant walk around the mere which is surrounded by mature woodland.

When I Went Down To the Woods Today
I didn’t find a Teddy Bear’s Picnic but despite that it ‘was’ rather noisy. There was music blaring out along the Silkin Way, a ride on mower in the hospital grounds, parents and children having having conversations at the top of their voices and the sound of bagpipes.

I only had time for a quick walk without the opportunity to stop and take photos along the way. I took a couple of photos towards the end of my walk.

St Mary’s Church, Edstaston
