Last weekend I went to a wedding, it was a very informal affair and the wedding breakfast was in a Greek restaurant where we were served with a Meze. Here are the wedding cakes, the bottom picture shows how popular they were

It seems to be a trend of late, to have cupcakes for a wedding “cake”. A friend made them for her daughter when she got married.

Wow! That style of wedding cake seems very popular now – and rightly so.
I do have an urge to try them for myself. I have this idea of doing a tower like that instead of a Christmas cake.
