No….sorry, Can’t agree. “It might have been………..worse” which is not a sad situation at all!
I was thinking from the point of view, that I didn’t even try!
Your thought, ‘it might have been worse’ is far more uplifting
Hmmm! you have got me thinking on that one…
Definitely among the saddest, Cherie. Are you in melancholy mode? Hope not. Wishing you a good week, anyway .
I am not at all melancholy, this is just one of my quotes from my web page. I thought it would be fun to post them on my blog one a week. When I counted them up there were exactly 52. They are listed on my web page in alphabetical order. I am just putting them in my blog in the same order.
I am nearly at the end of the 52, which when read together mean something. I am thinking about carrying on with the Cherie’s Place thought for the week beyond the 52, what do you think?
Never … ha ha ha ha ha … trust people who use superlatives. People who would use superlatives always … ha ha ha … ought to be met with suspicion.
And even a bit more seriously: Mr Greenleave with hindsight will hopefully have spotted himself, how utterly stupid is what he considered to be an aphorism. Pathetic. Wrong. Stupid.
Did I ever mention I like your ‘Thoughts of the week’, CherryPie?
I guess this isn’t the post for you LOL.
I like the ‘Thoughts of the Week’ they get people thinking and talking
I love your thoughts of the week… and I love that photo too
Thank you Sally
Oh, no. I enjoyed this post very much, CherryPie.
I deeply appreciate “Thoughts for the Week”. The main reason I seldom comment, on those posts, is that most of them always bring back so many memories. And if I would say one word, I would say a thousand…This is not the place for the story of my life!
But, please, keep them coming. They’re good for my mind, soul and heart. All the best, CherryPie.:-)
I am glad you enjoy them Everyone seems to like the series so I will carry on with them
Maybe you should start a blog of your own to share your thoughts
And the “Waren Mill” photo has this nostalgic look, very appropriate to the thought expressed.
Thank You I try hard to get the photos to match, but I can’t always get them to match to my satisfaction.
Looks not unlike where I used to be.
I recently used to be or a way back when used to be?
Love the photos, Cherie; don’t always agree with the sentiments expressed in the ‘thoughts’ – but that’s half the fun ! Mxx
Glad you like the pics The thoughts are to make people think
If it wasn’t meant to be, then it’s fate. Life goes on..
So true – a wonderful philosophy to live by
