It’s a lovely landscape, CherryPie. But I think there should be a river there, which is now covered by beautiful green grass.
I must have googled more than 100 British rural scenery this evening. I don’t think this is a Gainsborough, or a Constable. I give up. But I had fun….Is it one of your Flodden photo which you put over a painting?

Unless I am very much mistaken, the full site picture was captured using satellite photography. This small view only depicts Phase 1 to the Malton Opencast Superquarry.
