I have been a bit lax in organising my photos on Flickr so I thought the Christmas break would be an ideal opportunity to them up to date.  I had forgotten how many photos I had uploaded,  it is going to take me some time.  I have made a good start and hopefully I will be able to see the task through to the end.  Then everyone should be able to find the photos they are looking for more easily.

Some old friends were supposed to be visiting this evening but they have just phoned and canceled due to illness.  Perhaps it is for the best because there is a sever weather alert for Shropshire later today.

Each new photo of you, you look younger.

Thank you so much for your hard work. I’m also organising my notes on your photos, writing down what I have seen on Flick’r, and what I want to share with friends. So many places I would never have visited without you. And so many photos are works of art, worthy to be seen more than once. It makes life very interesting. All the best, Chérie.:)

I am struggling with them just a little, but I am getting there.

I am so glad you are enjoying the photos, when I started posing pictures on Flickr I never envisaged that people would enjoy them so much.

You have taken some gorgeous photos, cheryl.

  5. Just look at that fence going into the lake with the hill/mountain behind it …..a fantastic shot CherryPie.

Beautiful photos! I’m not a photographer so my words probably won’t make any sense but from the perspective of someone who enjoys beautiful things…the images are crisp (does that make any sense?) and very nice/easy to look at. There’s something very calming about the image of the lake(?) with the fence dipping into it.

You have so many Cherry Pie :D I nearly fell off the back of my chair when I saw the pic of you kneeling with the boxes of photos…What a lovely way to capture the moment for memories and share with others.

…by the way, I notice I talk too much.

You do make sense and I am glad you enjoy the photos :-) I am not sure why my photos connect with people so much, I have seen far more amazing photos than mine.

I need to get back in the mood for taking those sort of photos of me, which say so much more than my words can ;-)

Nice pic of you with the box of photographs: very retro and amusing comment on what you’re doing on Flickr. Buttermere … mmm, beautiful. Love that pic of Bruges (want to go back there. Now!).
