What to say about this one?
Now as a boy-scout, we were told to “Be prepared”.
So I would have thought it better to get that brolly up, before it started to rain.
After all we don’t put on sun cream after we have got sun-burnt.
I did hesitate about the comment because I didn’t agree with it, but then I thought it would lead to a discussion on the idea. Oh and it was just perfect for the demo I was involved in today not least because of the weather!
ah yes but……
I have a photograph of an Arab holding aloft a black ‘city gent’ umbrella to shield him from the sun as he walked along a dusty road in Dubai.
Is the moral of that story that we need to open the umbrella in advance to save us from the sun?
It’s probably not going to avail much for the lambs to protest about being eaten while the wolf is of a different opinion.
Oh my dear James how little you know…
If only all the lambs in the world knew it the world is in their hands.
The wolf wouldn’t stand a chance!
The key is in your words: “If only.” There are measures in place to ensure that people will never know.
Yes ‘if only’, that is why I do the things that I do. Very visible and sometimes quite scary, but it has to be done.
Last answer (so far) is what could change a lot.
Not that I don’t like wolves.
Which is why I’d (try to) not use the names of animals when it comes to name evil human beings eveil human beings.
Sometimes I’d call such evil human beings bucking fastards; i.e. when thinking of that calling them fucking bastards might be considered one step backwards on my quest to become the politest bloggers in this universe and those yet to discover.
I much prefer your description of evil although I am too ladylike to use it myself
I am actually rather fond of wolves (the animal that is)
I love the quote, Cherie…nor crossing the bridge before you get there! Nor needing the ticket till the train arrives. And so on and so forth!
I had not heard the ‘not needing the ticket till the train arrives’ one before
