Winter CoatI saw a coat when I was out and about with my Mum last weekend and decided it was the ideal thing to get with some gift vouchers I had been given some time ago. I had a feeling the vouchers were about to run out and I didn’t want to take any chances. I went back yesterday to try it on.  I wasn’t sure which size I would need so I tried two sizes and decided the bigger size was the best fit around my waist and hips.  I also thought it would still look all right when I have lost a bit more weight.

Later in the evening I asked my family members what their opinion was. There was a comment about the cuffs being odd and that I hadn’t got it on straight but I didn’t really get an answer one way or the other…   At times like this I miss my Dad, he would have told me whether it looked good or not and if it didn’t why.

Now I must dash I have some last minute jobs to do before some last minute visitors arrive for the weekend.  It was going to be my only free weekend until the middle of November…

A very tricky one, CP. For a truly honest and composite response, we your fans must vote anonymously. Pics with the clothes on and off, please.

I think it looks great. But you should post a pic of you wearing it. We will be honest cos you don’t know where we live ;-)

You didn’t say what colour is is. :)

    Can you barter with vouchers?

I like red. But royal blue would go well with your eyes. Show us more choices.:)

I was told many years ago a technique to make your eyes stand out.

With eyeshadow you must use a colour that is not in your eye.

Red ball on green grass always stands out :-)

I have never bartered with vouchers[who'd give me a voucher? LOL] But I ALWAYS barter with cash. Last week I bought 4 designer pairs of glasses and saved £357-
I was at the optometrist’s, found out I needed reading/driving glasses so decided to buy several pairs to negotiate a better deal. I never pay retail price[on principle]. :)

I would imagine one could barter with vouchers.

That jacket is so vibrant,it’s going to look lovely on you, Cherie!

I’m sure you will look lovely in it CP, :) – but whatever you do,
don’t buy a red hat to go with it.
My Granny used to say “Red hat, no drawers!” :o

For that reason, I love taking my son shopping. I do get a truly honest answer ~ even if my bum does look too big in it! ;)
