For those of you who can’t wait, I do have a few posts lined up which will appear below this one.

I did wonder if you ever took a break? I have noticed that you and your thoughtful comments pop up in blogs near and far (and wide). I’m so glad to hear that you are ‘mortal’ like most of us and that, ….. you do at least rest like everyone else.
Have a good one, Cherie. xx

A few posts lined up? Oh… that’ll include an Autumnal sunrise for sure! A lady wouldn’t renage on a promise would she?

I’m glad it’s only a few days….I would miss you if it was any longer ;-)

    Or renege, perhaps?

Feel free to “renage” as I don’t know what it means, even though I wrote it.

The sunrise wasn’t part of the scheduled posts…

But is was factored into the weekend away, it was the first port of call… I am not quite happy with the result, but it will be posted in a few days time for comments.

  8. Hi Cherie, I scrolled back through more of your blogs and found them most interesting. Loved the picture with the big sunflowers in it. Love this photo with the bench–you do great work :) I’m really enjoying posting pictures and even adding a quickly written hiaku to most of them. It’s just great fun to be creative and try some new things. Looking forward to doing much more of it. Hope you are enjoying some “peace and quiet”.

Enjoy your rest, and I hope the sun shines for you like in this lovely picture.

In my more cynical moments I wonder about muggers lurking in the bushes, waiting for someone to sit on that inviting bench before they pounce.

    • CherryPie says:

This one was in a private garden so I think everyone is safe from muggers there. But you have reminded me of when I was in Brighton and one of the local drunken youths decided to sit next to me on a bench. His mates dragged him off in the end.
