I really liked that sculpture complex, even though when we saw it a torrential downpour was hitting us (from the skies, not the fountain) so we didn’t linger. I had to buy a brolly from a nearby store. Apart from my photos (and memories) the brolly, and a Brugge/Bruges mug are my only souvenirs from the trip, come to think of it (the chocolates being long gone).

These pics of mine were taken in a torrential downpour. We had to linger because the tour leader took a phone call, and we would have been in so much trouble if we had moved on without authorisation!

Now you mention it, there are still some chocolates downstairs…

But I am on a diet!!!

  2. Andrew says:

Have you never heard of the chocolate diet? The cocoa, the antioxidants, the theobromine, the laxative effect if you are determined enough… Apparently the danger is in not pushing it far enough for the full “beneficial” effect. Sorry… but at least I may have put you off the chocolates idea for tonight (if it’s not too late). Goodnight

      Hmm…

I had almost forgotten about the chocolates…

Maybe I should just go and sample a few – or not?

Or maybe I should just retire for the night before I incur more calories!!

You should send the first photo to James for his “women on Bicycles” series CP:)

I am in awe of your photographic prowess though.

How very beautiful, lovely shots Cherie, especially if it was raining.
