There is much truth in that!
I think Tinker would agree with you
That is very true!
I’m more of a dog person though.
I am fond of dogs too. Next doors cats seem to have adopted my doormat though
I guess that must be the shortest and truest,
‘thought for the week’ I’ve read here. Cheers.
I had a feeling you would like this one
your photo reminds me of-
“When you notice a cat in profound meditation,
The reason, I tell you, is always the same:
His mind is engaged in a rapt contemplation
Of the thought, of the thought, of the thought of his name:
His ineffable effable
Effanineffable
Deep and inscrutable singular Name.”
T S Eliot

It does look like a bit of meditation is going on there. Or maybe a bit of trying to ignore the visitors who were getting too close.
Love the quote..and love the image. She looks like quite an extraordinary cat!!!
It belongs to the National Trust property
A cat can certainly be trained to sit, CP. The choice is between the time-consuming reward method or the ever popular mallet technique.
The mallet technique sounds a little to violent to me
Love the photo, love the quote! My three would certainly agree.
Thanks Annie
Yes, very cute.
He soon tired of the visitors
Lovely photo of the flowers and cat. And, those waffles look absolutely delicious. Ham with raisin sauce and sweet potatoes were on the menu for tonight, but I think it will be “breakfast for supper” now, and waffles will become the main course!
Ham with raisin sauce and sweet potatoes sounds interesting. I have not tried that.
