Due to the cold weather this type of headgear was necessary on my visit to Leeds Castle.

I didn’t take the original photo, but I created a little bit of magic on it to convert it to black and white with soft edges ;-)

Oh… I thought that was Boris sitting on your head during a bloggers’ meet-up round at Jams’ place. I am getting visually confused today (it just happened to me at Jams’ place too)… Is it too late for me to recover from this bout of rudeness by saying “Oh what a lovely hat”?

    • CherryPie says:

It must be Boris in disguise then, wrong colouring…

It is never too late to recover from a bout of rudeness, you just need to grovel a lot ;-)

Wrong colouring? A strange claim after you had said “but I created a little bit of magic on it to convert it to black and white”. I reckoned the “colouring” could hardly be trusted with your magic about. But OK. Not Boris. So… Bebe? Robyn? Both? And balanced rather precariously I’d say (having decided against the grovelling and just to stick with what I’m best at – the rudeness)

Oops! wrong word, I should have said wrong markings for Boris…

Ahh! ‘not to late’ and ‘choosing not to’ recover from a bout of rudeness are two different things entirely ;-)

Reminds me of that old line they use to teach little children… what was it? Oh yes, “The cats sat and made a hat.” Yes, I think that was it, Two cleverly curled tails there. Very good. I am surprised I’m the only one to spot what was really going on there.

  2. Une belle lumière. Un très beau contraste. Un très beau portait!

Ahhhh, it has to be ‘Lara’s theme’ from – Doctor Zhivago !
You would match Julie Christie as Lara, any day, Cherie. :)

  6. Janice says:

That’s a lovely portraiture Cherie! We wear those here too if it gets to -20C or more.

At first glance I thought this was a post on a WW2 Ilyushin fighter pilot, CP. :)
