Whilst checking out the EZ Zoom function on my camera I inadvertently took a self portrait.
The booklet tells me that EZ Zoom allows you to zoom in a little closer to an object without the loss of image quality. It does indeed zoom in a little closer but I think more practice is needed…

It sounds like it will be useful in some circumstances.
However, does you camera allow you over ride programme settings? If so they can be very useful.

There is optical and digital and this one is sort of in-between the two.
