Last weekend I briefly visited Wenlock Priory, which some of you will remember is one of my favourite places. The air within the grounds was distinctly chilly, much chillier than it was outside in the town. I must have been due to the overnight rainfall collecting in the earth, keeping the temperature cool.
This is a photo from a previous visit, but I will be sharing last weeks photos soon
For more of this weeks PhotoHunt pictures check out tnchick.
PS: The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed a different PhotoHunt post earlier. I was getting a little ahead of the PhotoHunt schedule
I love this. Can understand why it’s one of your favorite places!
Have a great weekend.
Thanks Annie
great shot! It would have worked nicely for last week’s theme as well.
Have a super weekend.
I thought the two themes were fairly similar too.
Now that is dark and romantic! I love ruined abbeys
I am sure you would get some great photos there. The town has a lot of potential too.
Great silhouette! I adore old buildings and churches, and your photo paints those stone walls in an amazing light
Cheers
Mostly Black
Thanks Sarah I am glad you like it
Nice shoot, i like the Line here.
Amicalement,
David
Thank you David
A dramatic, atmospheric silhouette outline! Beautiful!
Thanks Gemma
It is very lovely and it really would fit for both this week and last.
Mostly Black
I did have a few photos that would have worked equally well for both themes.
At least with mostly black one can see it. Mostly white might be a a different proposition.
I do have some mostly white photos that can be seen very well. I must post them so people can judge…
Love how the structure frames the sky. Such beautiful ancient architecture!
Thanks Marcie I just love the architecture and the atmosphere of the place
Such beautiful ruins – can’t wait to see new photos
I have some of the ruins and some of the snowdrops in the grounds
It looks very mysterious. I would loved to have seen it when it was inhabited by monks.
From the ruins it looks massive, it would be really impressive if still standing.
