One of my favourite subjects. Love the close up.
About your self-portrait post Cherie: Did you take it in the mirror or use another camera on a tripod? The camera you were holding was pointing to the right.
    Just a query. :)

I have taken some in my garden earlier this afternoon. I will post them soon :-)

The photo was taken with that camera. I have cropped a bit off the left hand side of the photo because it had bathroom mirrors and things which were distracting. I suppose that makes it look as if that camera didn’t take the photo :-)

I was just going to say – aren’t all bathrooms like that? – and then I thought –
How rude! I’m sure a ladies bathroom is ten times more tidy, than those us poor bachelors occasionally tidy up! :)

  3. Truly magnificent!
How big is it? Is one day enough for the whole priory?

    • CherryPie says:

It isn’t very big and it is a ruin so it only takes and hour or so. The building to the left of the top photo isn’t open to the public.

How beautiful. I have been so disappointed this year because my husband moved our snowdrops and planted them too deep. We only have one or two. But he did get a recent RHS magazine which had some wonderful gardens full of snowdrops. I wish I lived closer so I could visit these great places including this beautiful Priory.
