Robert wrote a lot of common sense, although, in my opinion he did get a little odd at the end.

I like your picture, I tried to get one something like that as the snow was melting on my local mountain last year. Just as I pressed the shutter the sheep came to investigate what I was doing and one stood on the flower – I got a picture of a hoof in stead.

I haven’t followed Robert closely but I do like quite a lot of his quotes.

That sounds like an interesting photo in itself :-)

Often when I just have the perfect shot framed up, something intervenes and I get a different shot than I anticipated…

What’s your game? Posting a photo of snow on the day of the Vernal Equinox? Did my own photos “warm your heart” so much you needed to cool it down again? :)

    Nice pic though.

Love the snow covered flower–so beautiful–fragile but tough too. Your roses are beyond incredibly beautiful–you just can’t go wrong taking a picture of a rose. My thoughts are with the people of Japan too–what a horrible situation. They too, are tough and resilient and will fight back, but what an awful thing to go through. Mickie

      Thank you :-)

The people of Japan are in a horrible situation. I find the good and bad in human nature shows itself in such times. But the good will always prevails, humans have an amazing capacity to bounce back.

Aye, it does that. Opacity is always justified on various grounds for the common good but it never is the common good.

  6. An excellent quote
