Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine, and at last you create what you will.

I had to read that quote a few times to get it clear in my head! It’s late and I’m tired! that’s my excuse.
Cragside looks a lovely place.
The quote is one to concentrate on
You would love Cragside, I hope you get the chance to visit.
I’m getting a word Flickr in the lower right corner and “This photo is not available” in the centre. Liz mentions Cragside which suggests she’s getting a photo.
Not sure what happened to the photo, it was working when I posted it… I have fixed the error. It is not a photo of Cragside, the tags are a clue
Some days my imagination seems to have hit a brick wall…and then I see something beautiful, like this Queen Anne’s lace and I think maybe I’ve just found a chink in that brick wall!
I struggle with my imagination quite often lately I always find inspiration from others.
I am glad the lace provided some light and clarity
It’s just as simple as that, Cherry, isn’t it! And I DO get the photo.
Thanks Ginnie I am glad the photo and quote work for you
I like the quote but I love the photo
Thank you Jams I am experimenting with my macro lens.
Shaw was a favourite with the Nazis and you can just about hear ‘Triumph of the Will’ conceivably borrowed from this quote.
It also works the other way round… The triumph of the individual despite the collective and whatever else is going on around them.
