Whilst I was taking those roof top views of Bolton Castle that I posted yesterday, it was extremely windy on the top. In this picture, I am holding onto the rail quite firmly because I was in danger of getting blown over. It is a good job I didn’t have an umbrella I might have ended up doing an impression of Mary Poppins.

I remember ‘wind in my hair’ but that was a long time ago
This is the point where I remains silently diplomatic
At least you have a fine head of hair to get wind blown. Sadly wind blown hair is becoming less and less of an option for me!
My above comment also applies here
It’s a nice feeling. If the wind is not too cold and you’re solid on your feet. You certainly managed to take very good photos on a windy day. And you have a great smile, Cherie.
There is just something about it isn’t there? It is no good if the air is cold though, then a hat is needed!
I LOVE THE WIND IN MY HAIR AND WE CERTAINLY GET OUR SHARE IN CORNWALL.
Yes I remember walking along the cliffs there when I stayed with one of my friends. It was rather windy!
Ah, but the wondrous feeling of wind on my head… a feeling you may never enjoy Cherie. Well… I know you’ll never enjoy feeling the wind on my head but I suppose I meant wind on your head, or on one’s head. Yes! The joy of wind on one’s head!(Number 101 perhaps?)
I suppose I could shave my head just for the experience… but I think I will pass on that Somehow I don’t think it will be quite the same.
Great pic of you…and it has been a little breezy of late. Been good catching up on the rest of your posts too, As always, I am in arrears (story of my life ~ haha)
Thanks Chrissy I am glad you enjoyed catching up. I seem to be always playing catch up at the moment too.
Cherie Poppins – quite like the idea but make sure you take photos from the air.
I wonder if I am talented enough to manage the umbrella in one hand and the camera in the other?
