Family

The weather had turned cooler and the morning walk around three quarters of the town walls was quite refreshing.  After the walk we stopped off for a cup of tea and then walked along the Shambles before having lunch.  One of the shops had some interesting bags and clothing which resulted in me getting a leather and suede rucksack as a birthday present.  It replaces one of the same proportions that had to be pensioned off a couple of years ago;  It started oozing brown goo out of the straps onto my clothing, so sadly it had to go!

The afternoon was spent in York Minster.  I still found it impressive even though I have visited before.  It is an amazing place.  Whilst I was there, I lit a candle in memory of my Dad.  Then I went back to the hotel to freshen up and relax, before going out for an evening meal.

Although I love the idea of the first picture, the last one is amazing. It wouldn’t have the same effect if the person was omitted … nice work.

Thanks, I have several versions of that last picture. I found the lighting and details in this one just worked for me best, I am glad it worked for you too :-)
