[Just in order to let my comment not seem to being too short]: Lilac?
Wordpress is the Blog police, it doesn’t like one word comments!
It is a big deciduous tree, I have to confess I don’t know which type it is…
I was so focused on the emerging leaves, I forgot to look at them in the context of the whole tree :-/
I love these. Each bud holding the promise of new life, hope and maybe even summer!
The new life in the buds is what I saw when I took those photos
I’m not familiar what kind of plant is this. I agree, you should put the context of the tree to let us know the kind of tree is this. I can see summer is now approaching..
LC (below) says it is a horse chestnut.
Getting ready to burst into life!
Lovely isn’t it?
1-2-3. Just like that you clearly got your experiment down pat, Cherry! Congratulations.
I love messing about with DoF.
New beginning!
Buds from a horse chestnut.
Thanks for that, I forgot to look at the tree to see what it was
You have spring on the mind but I’m not sure there’s spring in the air in this snow, Cherie.
Well on Sunday it was summer, I haven’t posted those photos yet…
And today we had suddenly arrived back in winter…
I am not quite sure what happened to spring in amongst all that!
