Is that Ai Weiwei filling up another bag of his ’sunflower seeds’ for sale to gullible ‘art’ lovers?
Quite a scoop you’ve got if it is
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-18016374
I had not heard of him before. I often wonder why people fall for and spend so much money on these bizarre things…
If I knew, maybe I would be rich?
But there again who needs vast amounts of money to be rich
Great shot of this scooping guy, I got a shot of him from a different angle.
It sure is a wonderful place to visit.
I had seen the video of those hand-made sunflower-seeds. I roll my eyes and I wonder why I am not inventing those stupids things, may be my name is not interesting enough. How is it possible that people take him serious in the first place.
It is a great place to visit, it has grown quite a bit since I last went there a few years ago.
I think the fact that people take that type of art seriously says a lot about people.
That museum looks really interesting.
As for Ai Weiwei: I must admit I don’t care much for a lot of his art but the man deserves respect for his activism and attempts to speak his mind in China:-

Yes he does have to be admired for his activism especially in such difficult circumstances. That is is a very interesting article, thanks for the link
Haha, the theme wanted a scoop and you gave just that!
I did scratch my head for a photo… But then I realised I had taken the perfect one, just last week
My back hurts just thinking about those scoops!
Things will be ‘magical’ next weekend at The Saturday PhotoHunt.

I like a little bit of magic
That’s where they started the Industrial Revolution, right?
Yes it is the birthplace of the industrial revolution.
WOW – that is a scoop that one doens’t see very often these days! Great shot for this week’s theme.
Thanks Jerry, we had a fun day out
