There are different approaches to remembering. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it’s too painful. Hopefully more of the former than the latter.
I think it depends on the person doing the remembering too.

It is a beautiful poem and I love the image…..I always love to take a moment and light a candle. It took me a while before I could think of happy memories but, I do and so does Andy. We smile together
It is lovely that you can enjoy the happy memories and it is so nice to be able to share them with someone else
